It’s a Sweet Life Bakery

This logo was a labor of love. My best friend since college makes amazing cakes and she needed a logo. So I came up with this logo, she and her family came up with the name. The cakes always look and taste amazing. I don’t mind being paid in bake goods from time to time.

ABC Worksheets

I had the wonderful opportunity to be the designer for this logo. I have done some freelance before with ABC Worksheets and it seemed to be the right fit to work on this project. ABC Worksheets creates and designs worksheets for teachers. They sell digital rights for the worksheets, flash cards, poster etc. On the website Teachers Paying Teachers. They also donate many of the digital files to low income school. It’s a way for them to give back to the community and to pay it forward. With the logo I didn’t want to have the logo be the typical child play blocks, because that can be a bit over done. They also wanted to logo to reach other teachers for future products that they would like to launch for High School. So the final logo has a grown up look to it but still showcases the learning and education that is ABC Worksheets mission.

Haywood Farm Logo

I designed a logo for a lovely family. when designing we wanted to incorporate each member of the family. They own a tiny farm that has goats, chickens and a lot of green space. With the logo I design an egg for each member of the family. Each egg is a bit different just like each member of the family. It could be the color, size, angle that it’s laying etc.

Hron Outdoor Sign

The Hron family asked me to design a sign for their new home. I have gotten to know Amanda and Brian very well from working with them on past projects. They are really into Dr. Who (in fact they got me hooked too.) so I went with a very non-traditional name sign. I learn gallifreyan (Gallifreyan is the ancient language of the Time Lords,) for this project. It was a lot of fun. Plus it’s a nice conversation starter.

Abigail Lowery Campaign

I was commissioned to design a campaign logo and mini-flyers for Abigail Lowery. She was running for the DeForest Village Board in 2017. In April Abigail Lowery won a Village Trustee spot on the Deforest Village Board. In fact she was the canidate with the most votes over 600. The campaign headshot photo was taken by Myles Lowery.
